DIS Walt Disney beats by $0.09, beats on revs
Reports Q3 (Jun) earnings of $0.67 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.09 better than the Thomson Reuters consensus of $0.58; revenues rose 16.4% year/year to $10 bln vs the $9.38 bln consensus. The Q2 revs from Parks and Resorts increased 3% to $2.8 bln and segment operating income decreased 8% to $477 mln. Results for the quarter were driven by decreases at domestic parks and Disney Cruise Line, partially offset by improved results at international operations.
